Made in Italy in the 1980s with dark chocolate brown (not black) leather which is in perfect condition. The craftsmanship on this chair is far superior to a lot of the cheap knock-offs you see today. There is one small imperfection where a little bit of the chrome has come away but it is very hard to spot - please refer to the last picture. If not for this I would have listed at a higher price. Jesse Italia has only recently ceased production of its high-end Italian made furniture and this pieces is a fine example of their simple but effortless style. A vintage open armchair as part of the Apta range (1990’s) designed by Antonio Citterio for B&B Italia. This particular example has been reimagined by Alpha Modern to include a beautiful bouclé from the Elton range of Warwick fabrics. The steel armrests and legs have also been powder-coated in a gloss white to compliment the Ivory fabric. A beautiful example of the coveted 1970s wicker & chrome cantilever in the style of Martin Visser and produced in the Netherlands. This particular example carries some patina on the chrome frame and has been reupholstered in Wortleys Madison Ginger featuring new premium seat foam. An iconic 1960s design by Fred Lowen and produced by Fler, this swivelling lounge chair is beautifully reimagined in a luxurious ‘Cashew’ velvet from Wortley Fabrics. Freshly upholstered, this particular example presents beautifully, with the chrome base glistening, new feet glides and is a wonderfully comfortable and elegant piece for the lounge space. Renowned Finnish designer Eero Aarnio designed a lounge suite in the 1970s which was produced by Framac locally. This particular armchair from the suite is a beautiful example, upholstered in a mottle tan leather that is a lovely contrast with the chrome frame. Comfortable, elegant and gorgeous, this piece presents in good vintage condition with the chrome displaying some patina and the upholstery in excellent unmarked condition. (Price per chair) The 1970 Oroglass chair designed by James Farrell and produced by Module is an icon of Australian design and in permanent collection at the National Gallery of Victoria. Here we have two of the finest examples of this design, a rare scenario given that most have deteriorated significantly. These chairs present beautifully, featuring only very light patina to the chrome stands and only minor imperfections across the perspex seats which are clear (tinted grey/blue) and shiny. N
