I am looking for Agistment for between 5 and 20 bottle raised calves in the Goolwa and surrounding areas. I am happy to do a bit of fencing if required. Wethers, and Ewes with lambs and breeding rams
Dorpers are easier to keep than Goats from my experience. They are much better mothers as I lost most of my kids to foxes during the first two weeks when they are relatively inactive and the mothers would wander off with the herd. Dorper mothers and babies are inseperable. Dorper sheep are very hardy, eat a wider range of vegetation so are very good for weed control and are a purely meat sheep.
