Heritage door (flannel flower panes)
Unique sliding (Catholic) heritage confessional door, with right side finger moulds, obtained from Mary MacKillop Centre, North Sydney. Circa 1900. Originally fitted at St Joseph’s Convent in Perthville near Bathurst (NSW. Wooden frame appears to be made from flame cedar and has embedded alternating cranberry/deep lime moulded flannel flower motif glass panes. Dimensions are 62-cm wide and 166-cm high. Mottled walnut bakelite door knobs (6 sets)
Pre-owned 1930's mottled walnut brown bakelite door knobs (6 complete sets [12 knobs and rosettes]) complete with tap fastening screws. Six threaded spindles will be provided. Knobs are in overall very good condition and would come up even better with a polish, using, say, a wet high grit polisher like Autosol. Knob diameter is 5.5-cm and rosette diameter is 6-cm. Price is not negotiable. Post out is possible for this item.
