Another Renovators Delight. This is a flatback mandolin made by G Puglisi Reale in Catania. Date on label is 1925. Quite significant splits on the front. The back is in good condition. The tuners are also in good working order. Case has seen better days but still works.

This is a "renovators delight". Has small splits in the top as shown in the photograph. The bowl is in perfect condition. The tuners are also working well. Has "Silvestri Catania" stamped on the front. The case has seen better days but still works.

This old mandolin is a "renovators delight". Has splits in the top and the top is lifting in some parts. It is complete and has a very nice set of enclosed tuners that work very well. It's an unusual instrument in that it has the f holes in the sides. No case included.

Suzuki Mandolin. In very good condition. The label indicates it was made in 1960, and is a number 60, which is the model number. It has new strings and plays perfectly. The case is in good condition and works perfectly, but does have some tarnishing on the chromed metal parts, like the hinges, locks and handle fixings. I will clean this away as much as I can. This is a vey good example of a Suzuki mandolin of this age.

Used soprano recorders in fair condition. $40 for both.

This violin is a Skylark brand 7/8 size violin. The back measures 340 mm (13.5"). The playing string length is 305 mm. It will suit someone finding it a little difficult to manage a full size violin. These violins were a cheap Chinese made instrument from the early 2000's. Some have now matured into reasonable sounding instruments. This one is quite good. It is nicely set up and plays well. It has a new set of Thomastik Superflexible strings. This violin has not been played for many years and

This Manby violin is in good condition, with no splits or cracks anywhere. It sounds quite good, but could probably do with a new bridge. The label reads "Exact Copy of a Stradivarius" "RECD.H.S. NO m1764" "Make C.O." Comes in an old case, which is still serviceable. Does not include a bow. $600

This modern Dansette turntable, model CR6233A-RE has a built-in amp for stand-alone playing, or line out to an amplifier. Also headphone and aux-in sockets. Use on a table top, or fix on the legs. Carry handle for transit. Hardly ever been used.
