Hornsea Pottery Lakeland Green Heirloom Small Sugar Canister

Heirloom was Hornsea’s first complete range of tableware, and was designed by John Clappison in 1966. It has a distinctive screen printed black pattern, along with the well designed forms. This green colourway was only produced for a short period of time and has become highly collectible due to its scarcity. This sugar canister presents beautifully and is in great vintage condition. There is a small crack to the rim of the canister which is pictured. Stamped to the base with Hornsea England.

This Vintage Danish vase is from the Aluminia / Royal Copenhagen TENERA series of the 1960s and 70s. This vase is from the earliest production with Aluminia backstamp. From 1969 the series got the Royal Copenhagen backstamp. The Aluminia are more rare to find and more sought after by collectors. This small vase was designed by Nils Thorsson.
