ANTIQUE WALKING STICK WITH BRASS DUCK HEAD HANDLE AND HIDDEN FLASK
Approx 90 cm in length, this wooden 20th Century walking cane was my father’s. It is a classic FLASK CANE with a brass duck head handle which opens up to release a hidden 5 inch short flask with a cork stopper concealed inside the shaft.
The wooden shaft dismantles into 3 approx 30 cm sections. These were called Tipplers and back in the day this one was called the TOULOUSE LAUTREC CANE because the famous alcohol addicted painter carried a similar one, with a shot of alcohol in it, around with h
