1st photo: Ribeye. 1 x Full blood Wagyu steer weaner. Born July 2023. Ribeye is a grandson from high marbling bulls Itoshigenami and Macquarie Y408. Y408 has sired some of the best modern bulls in Australia and Y408 semen is exceptionally rare, costing up to $27,000 per straw. The sire, Prelude was an early son used widely in Australia, Europe and America. With the right feeding regime, Ribeye should be a great carcase. DNA test results pending. We have 2 x F1 Wagyu/Angus heifers at 3 years old and 2 x F1 Wagyu/Angus Cows at 3 years old. The cows have 1 x heifer calf each at 8 months old (first calf). The calves are from an Angus/Wagyu cross Angus Bull. Calves were vaccinated at birth and drenched 2 months ago with the cows. All 4 adults have been with the same bull (Angus/Wagyu cross Angus Bull) from Sept-Dec 2023, so most likely in calf again. Our flock of Dorpers has grown and we would like to sell up to 23 sheep. We have young ewes and wethers for sale, around 8 months old. A number of young ewes have now been sold, but would consider selling older ewes too. We have a number of wethers that make good lawn mowers.
