Although this is a tandem kayak (2 adults & a child) you can use it as a single kayak, by using the middle seat. This is an all round unsinkable fun kayak, we've used it fishing the Brisbane waters, surfing the waves at Southwest Rocks, diving the wrecks at Moreton Island just to mention a few.
