1910s Hickory Shafted Mashie Hand Forged in Scotland by W. A. G. Horn

1910-20 hickory handled mashie hand forged by W. A. G. Horn of London & St Andrews for Murdoch's of Sydney. The club is 95cm long and it has a dark green wound leather grip in good condition. A line around the circumference of the shaft near the end of that grip and a small nail hole next to it indicates that the green leather is probably not the stick's original grip. The club face has a dashed pattern. There is some rust on the back of the head and so, it is likely to have been made before 19
