We are an Educational Centre with a different, unique and effective approach to teaching and learning. Our children today are “not learning the basics” as they should. Simple, basic language and maths skills are just not known. The consequence of this is “functionally illiterate” adults in the workplace. For example, they do not have the ability to write simple letters or emails with correct punctuation and spelling, or do simple maths calculations with fractions, decimals and percentages.
We endeavour to teach all our students these vital basics so they can thrive educationally or in the work place and thus are no longer mired down by confusions or inabilities to learn and absorb vital information.
We specialise in the following for both children AND adults:
- The Phonics Method (sounding out) of learning words (this assists with SPELLING & READING)
- English as a Second Language Students (pronunciation and grammar)
- Increasing comprehension abilities
- Primary & High School students in all areas of English (grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, etc.)
- Creative Writing and other writing mediums
Our tutors are qualified and experienced and have tutored hundreds of students of various grades and ages.
Through our use of thorough assessments we ascertain a student's areas of difficulty in English and then specicifically tailor our programmes to handle each area of difficulty.
