Vintage 1940-50s Pair of Fancy Vegetable Shape Cutters

Postage is extra. Cash if picking up locally in Canberra. These 1940-50s vegie shape cutters would have been (and still could be) used for cutting pieces of vegetable or fruit into fancy shapes for hors d'oeuvres at cocktail parties or to arouse interest for main course or dessert delivery at dinner parties. Postage is extra. Cash if picking up locally in Canberra. Now, I don't know about you, but I love peeling spuds if I need to, for example when making corn and bacon chowder (which has potato squares in it). In developing my fetish, I have used all of the versions you see in the main photo. These were made in Hong Kong. The picks are approximately 88mm long. Unfortunately this container does not have a lid and on

Vintage German Wilesco Olive Pitter/Slicer

Postage is extra. Cash if picking up locally in Canberra. I believe this kitchen implement is a German made (by Wilesco) olive pitter and slicer. The frame and push down knob are made of a very light metal, perhaps molded aluminium. The spring, blade and spine are made of steel. The well where you would place the item to be pitted (stone removed from flesh of fruit) would suggest either olives or maybe cherries but in both cases the blade would not only remove the stone pit but would quarter th
