I have this A343F transmission, it's from a 2L (2.4l) turbo Diesel 4runner 89 to 94 model I don't know much of the history of the trans itself. I don't have the space for it anymore. I believe this is the better series of transmissions for conversions as it has the kickdown cable and not full electronic. Suits turbo diesel replacement or 1UZ/1JZ hilux swap.
