If you are looking for some history, here is a boat that may grab you. Built by Marko Sambrailo at Fremantle around 1947. This 30 foot timber planked copper sheathed vessel was originally used for shark fishing.
n 1975 the well-known Perth writer Hugh Edwards wrote a book "Sharks and Shipwrecks" in which a chapter is devoted to Shalene and her owner, shark fisherman Ted “Sharkey”Nelson.
