I have decided to end my breeding program and find I have no further need of my flock. The girls are all laying and the drake is working. The flock has to be sold as a unit, as I don't want to split them up at this stage.

RED / BLACK Crosses, that famous old fashioned backyard layer that we all knew and loved years before the Isa Brown turned up in Australia.
They are the prettiest of birds, with their black coat, with a touch of red on their breast, and an overall beetle green sheen that shines in the sun
Couple that with their good regular laying habits, lasting for many years, laying copious amounts of tasty eggs.
They have a very friendly disposition and are just a joy to own.

We've got a couple of pretty Lavender Araucana females, about 22 weeks old that don't really fit into our current flocks. They'll be laying nice (small) light purple eggs soon, and are in great health.
One has a beutiful traditional neck ruff while the other it isn’t as obvious. They are nice birds, and can look after themselves (I wouldn’t keep them with silkies but pretty much any other bird would be fine)

Nothing beats the sound of a Rooster waking you up in the morning. My problem is i have tooooo many of them its starting to sound like a choir.
The colours in these roosters are magnificent. The Father is a Barnevelder crossed with an Austalorp plus Barnevelder crossed with a Orpington.
If you have chickens a Rooster is great for keeping away preditors, for they gather up the hens to protect them, then they make such a racket you know something is wrong.
