The ukulele is a soprano type 21" (which is the first in order of size and the most common one) perfect for beginners (it was my first one too :) ) because it's not one of the crappy ones but it has a good quality sound for a reasonable price.
There are no scratches on it and it comes with a reinforced bag which is perfect for protecting it while travelling.

I REALLY struggle when buying mics(don't we all) and honed down my choice to the Violet Designs FJ and AKG 414 xls. Now I realise I'm probably better off with the AKG for what I'm doing 95% of the time (mainly steel string instruments and some lead vocals)
