Offered for sale is this vintage 20th Century English Art Deco glazed pottery vase, made by Swinnertons and dating from the 1930’s. Mould number 115. Located at Stoke-On-Trent (at their ‘Vulcan Works’) and starting operation in 1885, the firm produced a wide variety of earthenware, decorative and domestic pottery up until 1973 (when after various mergers post-WW2 it become part of the Royal Doulton Group of companies). Rare, Art Deco, (1930s), Morley Ware, Large Gravy Jug, Handpainted Mayfair Pattern, Reg. No. 779736. Initialled R. Size is ; 20cms wide x 10cms high. Has crazing and old repair on lip, as per photos.
