Cast Iron engineers bench incremented inches

This is a quality old solid cast iron engineers bench with inch increments (see pictures) on the top surface. There is a ply wooden shelf at the bottom of the unit and underneath the table the strength ribs are quite substantial as you would expect to see on this type of casting.
