Bunya Pine (Araucaria bidwillii)Tree
Bunya Pine or Araucaria bidwillii - One of the greats of big Australian trees. I've grown this one since it was a seedling. It's about 700 tall now and in a 25cm pot. I've put it up to see if someone with a large property might like to take it. The nuts are edible, but the size of a human head so care must be taken in its placement, but it will take years and years to produce seed. Is native to Queensland but there are many examples that have done well in Melbourne, a very adaptable tree! This
