Amazing bass originally finished in Graphite Pearl (see last pic for example), which has faded naturally over the years to this cool metallic olive green. Some remnants of the orig colour remain under the guard. Slab rosewood board. Original case has a chunk out of one corner.

Before Leo Fender left us in 1991 he had given us the Fender "P" and "J" bass. Then he went to Musicman and brought us the Stingray. His final gift was the G&L series of basses. This is a "WUNKAY" or L-1000 from 1998 and made in the USA. This bass only weighs 3.5kg and has a SWAMP ASH body with MAPLE neck & fretboard. Controls are MASTER VOLUME TREBLE CUT BASS CUT and a mini toggle switch for SERIES / PARALLEL. This is a passive bass but the "OMG" mini toggle gives a significant Bass Boost
