Vintage “ Tooheys Old “ Golf Bag by Proline

In excellent condition with very little use. 5 zippered pockets, all working perfectly. Club divisions are lined with faux fir, as is the carry strap. Has umbrella sleeve and comes with a rain hood. Vintage Blade Bent Neck Putter by W M Winton, Montrose, Scotland

Bent neck blade putter hand forged by W. M. Winton & Co., in Montrose, Scotland some time between 1910 and 1925. It was shafted and retailed by E. H. Risebro, the professional at Sheringham Golf Club in England at that time. William Winton was a professional at East Finchley and Acton Golf Clubs in England between 1897 and 1909 before he started his club making business in 1910 in his home town of Montrose, Scotland. Antique Hickory Shaft Socket Wood by John Wisden & Co, Scotland 1906

Antique hickory shafted socket wood made by John Wisden's company in London. Wisden not only became famous for playing cricket for Sussex and publishing the Cricketer's Almanack but his company was also a significant maker of golf clubs. This club is called "The Royal" and Wisdens made these from 1906 to 1910. The club is approximately 112cm long and it has a wound leather grip.
