80 Series Landcruiser dualcab.
It’s a 1hz non turbo. Was planning to turbo it hence the scoop on the bonnet.
The list is long. A lot of money, sweat and tears have gone into building this rig. It’s a total headturner wherever it rolls down the road.
It started it’s life as a dx. Have decided to leave the manual windows and the vinyl floor.
Chop is fully engineered.
Door cards have been custom made. Front seats are I think out from a ss maloo? Really nice and comfortable seats. Rears are just your standard gxl seats.
Dual batteries. The secondary battery might need changing. Main bat still very good.
Aircon works and is fairly cold.
Had a new windscreen about a year ago. Though has a small chip on it now. No cracks.
Centre fridge with extra cup holders. The car has 6 cup holders in total so no issues finding a spot where to put your beer.
Headunit with bt connectivity.
Rear and front facing cameras. 7” screen mounted on the rearview mirror.
Good tyres with plenty of tread. 35” all terrains
Lifted. Not sure how much. I think it is between 3-4”
All new driveline bushes 1 year ago.
Lighting- led’s all around. This thing isn’t afraid of the dark that’s for sure. Dot approved headlights, two 9” spotties and I think a 42” bar on the roof.
Arb winch bar with 12000lb dominator winch with wireless remotes 2x.
Led smoked out blinkers on the bar as well.
Recovery points on the front.
Uhf with gme whip.
Awning, tracks, shovel and hi lift jack mounted to the roof rack.
160w solar panel on the roof with the inverter mounted in the cab.
Autolokka locker in the front and your standard lsd diff in the rear.
New flares all around.
Rocksliders with scrub bars.
Has remote central locking with alarm.
Wind deflectors on doors and bonnet.
Probably forgetting some stuff.
Has always been serviced.
Front axle got done about 8 months ago with new seals, cv’s bearings the whole lot. Breaks were done as well a year ago. Front calipers got all new seals in them too.
Has had a replacement gearbox put in over a year ago out from a low k donor vehicle. No syncro issues here. Transfer case was also swapped when the gearbox was out.
Powersteering pump has started weaping a bit just recently I’ve noticed.
New glow plugs 4 months ago.
Oil change got done about two months ago. Used the good old delo400.
Timing belt has been done as well with the waterpump about 8 months ago.
Was resprayed roughly 4 years ago. No rust.
It has a few little battle scars and few little squeks here and there as it is a 25 year old car and has been purposely used.
Overall the rig presents itself really nicely.
