Vetiver Grass (Chrysopogon zizanioides) - Erosion Control Plant
$0.50
https://www.erosionqld.com.au - I am a TVNI-certified Vetiver nurseryperson based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland and am interested in Vetiver Grass advocacy for erosion and silt control/wastewater projects/revegetation projects (amongst other uses). Why use Vetiver? - https://www.erosionqld.com.au/why/
This is PICK-UP PREFERRED and the deal involves us digging the plants and dividing them together as a practical lesson so you can continue at home with the knowledge you need. If this is impossible to achieve, we can make other arrangements. There will also be lessons on the correct installation of hedges as per the guidelines of the 'Vetiver System' (VS) set forth by 'The Vetiver Network International' (TVNI). I will answer any questions you may have and offer advice through email if you have pictures of projects at home where you may want to implement erosion control strategies involving Vetiver Grass.
This is not a huge-scale operation. If you require large amounts of Vetiver Grass (over 10000), please contact other suppliers like 'Veticon'. This is an advocacy organisation dedicated to increasing the use and uptake of Vetiver Grass in the subtropics and tropics which deals only in smaller amounts (under 10000). Advice is free and keenly given.
