CHEF WANTED

We are looking for a motivated chef who loves food and has experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen. This position will suit an applicant with full working rights, looking for a long-term dedicated position, with potential for growth and advancement.

Little Loaf bakery is evolving, with the bakery moving to a larger premises this will soon become Little Loaf Lunch Bar - a nod to the classic Aussie Lunch Bar, while maintaining our high standards and making everything made in-house.

Being the leader of the Kitchen you will have the opportunity to cook lots of different dishes, and place your stamp on the menu.

We are not an ordinary store and we are looking for an extraordinary chef who is as obsessed with food as we are. You must also be extremely organised, present well, and be a good person.

Customer service is part of the role, your job mix will include preparation, service cooking, menu planning, food costing and on-site cooking for functions and events.

Duties:

- Menu planning

- Kitchen design

- General mise-en-place

- Line cooking

- Cooking of retail items for display

- Keeping a clean and stocked workspace

- Ordering of stock

- Prep, cooking and organisation of catering orders

- On-site service of catering orders (dinner parties, cocktail parties, drop offs etc.)

- Assist with growth of catering sector of business

- Assist with growth of evening service sector of business
