Bargain Black Watch!
Just slipped, antifouled and serviced so you are main maintenance free for the next 12 months.
Australian made to handle Australian seas. The Black Watch 260’s are a “baby game boat” and are packed with all the creature comforts in the cabin including a large double bed, kitchen with fridge, cupboard, sink & cooker. The cabin also has a kitchen table and seating (that folds down into another bed), toilet and shower. Did I mention storage? There are hatches everywhere so you can store all the clutter away and keep things tidy.
The large open rear deck has two removable flush mounted kill tanks, an inbuilt esky and a salt water deck wash. There is also a fresh water sink with hot and cold water and an extra long hose so that it can be used as a shower to wash the salt off. The beautiful thing about the 2004 and onwards models is the flat rear deck. Most smaller boats with inboards always have that space consuming, toe stubbing raised engine cover. Not on this tub!
The flybridge is well appointed and for a boat of this size quite spacious when compared to a Bertram or other 26 foot flybridges. Oh did I mention storage? Yes more hatches for keeping the clutter away! The only real downfall is the electronics, at the moment there is only a small 7 inch Raymarine plotter/sounder combo with a 600w thru hull transducer. It does the job but ideally you want a 12 inch screen (or two!) with a minimum 1kw transducer and autopilot. The lack of electronics is reflected in the price of the boat.

Many more that you can see on inspection
Currently penned at Aquarama Marina. The flybridge is collapsible and the boat can be put on a trailer and towed. You will need an oversize permit. Depending on what you have on board, the boat and alloy trailer will come in at around 4 ton.
I have only owned this boat for several months and on reflection it’s just a little too big for the type of boating, fishing and diving that I am into. If you are looking to upgrade I will consider a trade of a 6 to 7.5m alloy but preferably glass trailer boat with a max 2.7 metre beam and cash difference my way.
I am still using the boat regularly, please don’t low ball me with silly offers, I simply won’t respond. Once you have taken a look at the boat you will see the value.
