Pizzaiolo / Pizza Chef

We're looking for a Pizzaiolo / Pizza Chef for our unique Neapolitan pizzeria in Maroochydore on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

Part-time / Casual to begin with, but with lots of opportunity for more more hours and responsibility in the future should the right candidate be interested.

We create authentic Neapolitan pizza out of our customised food truck, which we operate out of our quirky street-market style space / restaurant in Maroochydore near to the site of the developing CBD. We have gained a loyal customer following over the past 12 months, and gain new customers and followers every week. We currently operate 4 nights a week from Thursday to Sunday, as well as using the space as a venue for private parties.

So what do you need to have;

- Some skills and experience in pizza making (not necessarily Neapolitan as some training will be provided).

- some experience of working in a commercial kitchen or as part of a hospitality team.

- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate politely and efficiently.

- Positive can do attitude

- Be reliable and up for hard work when it matters.

The role will include general prepping, general running and setting up the restaurant. The role would suit someone looking for part time/casual work at first, but there is the exciting opportunity to expand hours and responsibility and be an integral part of the restaurant and the business as it grows, should you be interested. If you have any training or a passion for food, and the right aptitude, the role could progress into a Head Chef role who inputs on the menu and general running of the business.
