DISC RESURFACING & REPAIR FOR VIDEO GAMES | CD | DVD |
Do you have skipping, unplayable, scratched Music/Data, DVD and Videogame discs?
Want to restore the factory fresh mirror polish finish?
I can help you!
Hello, I own a professional grade surface repair machine which can economically remove light, medium or heavy scratches restoring a smooth surface to any optical disc.
The EcoPro2 has been the disc repair machine of choice for over 4500 stores and libraries all over the world. This machine has a dedicated Blu-ray mode as well and will repair all of the new generation console discs as well as all disc formats over the past 40 years.
This machine buffs away the very outer surface of the optical disc in a precision manner by buffing on a flat platter, and therefore wears down past the light surface scratches. It’s then finished with separate polishing pads for the mirrored factory fresh finish.
The effectiveness and end result is leaps and bounds above the variable visually poor results obtainable on the cheaper $50-$400 machines, found at your local game shop or DVD store that leave a circular brushed look effect.
Come down in person or send pics for an assessment. I will examine your discs and give you an idea of what is possible. Based in Mitcham, South Australia or postage options also available Australia-wide.
I own every Videogame console made that runs laser discs, to test after the clean, as well as CD and DVD player.
Standard cost: Single disc $4 - $5 basic resurface light to medium scratches.
Heavy scratches and damage will require more time and cost after a standard clean.
Time taken depends on damage level once reviewed - assume 4 to 8 mins per disc.
Data recovery projects also completed from unreadable CDRs etc. Message for an estimate on these more complex one-off projects.
Light and medium scratches can be buffed out. 95% of visually damaged discs are repairable.
Unfortunately a small percentage will be either scratched too deeply, be affected by disc rot or have other data layer damage on the label side.
Cracks, warping, deep gouges, disc rot or data damage cannot be repaired. Light disc rot and bronzing may be okay in some cases.
Given your disc is faulty or unplayable, it is definitely worth the effort and you can avoid it ending up in e-waste or spending more money to buy another.
Call or message me anytime!
