2010 2WD 2-litre 6-speed MANUAL NISSAN X-TRAIL ST series T31
You do, you little legend. That’s who.
Please note: this car is a 2WD, not 4WD. Gumtree didn't offer the option to select 2WD, but that's what this is! Not a 4x4.
✅ Rego until 30th December 2020
✅ BRAND NEW CLUTCH
✅ Nice big digital display (not that stupid teensy one in previous models that I can’t read without my glasses, which I don't need for driving)
✅ Remote stereo, phone and dashboard display controls on steering wheel
✅ Hard wearing cloth seats
✅ Roof racks
✅ Tow bar (and tow ball)
✅ Heavy duty rear coil springs
✅ Full spare tyre, not one of those space saver thingies
✅ Two working keys
✅ All the usual mod cons
✅ Barely a mark on it.
✅ Full service record available.
THIS IS THE PERFECT FAMILY CAR.
Rear seats fold completely flat to create 2m deep cargo space (you can sleep in that!). This car has the largest cargo space of all cars in its class. Trust me, I looked into it extensively. It’s why I bought it in the first place.
This is a beautiful car in fantastic condition with low kms. I’m the second owner and only selling because I bought a caravan and had to upgrade to a 4WD.
Before I upgraded, I had heavy duty springs installed in the rear. It makes for a slightly bumpier ride (only slightly), but it makes the car much better able to carry a load and feels better to drive. But I don’t recommend towing a caravan. A camper trailer should be fine as long as you’re not going off road.
If you don’t go off road, this 2WD version of the popular Nissan X-Trail is a fantastic car. It’s lighter than the 4WD, is cheaper to run and cheaper to maintain. Fuel efficiency is excellent, around 8.5l/100km, higher with city driving (it’s reading higher at the moment, because I did some towing with it).
Bluetooth is a nice luxury, if you’re the kind of person who always buys older cars! Makes it easy to keep the whole phone thing legal.
I’ve really tried to get all the sand and dog hair out, but you probably know what that’s like.
This Nissan is currently the best value in the 2nd-hand market, especially with a brand new clutch recently installed (see above re advice about not towing a caravan).
New clutch is feather-light. Brakes are super-soft touch. Takes a bit of getting used to, especially if you’re used to getting a lower-body workout every time you drive. Once you get the feel for it, this car is a really comfortable vehicle to drive and ride in. I love driving this car.
So come and have a look and a test drive.
