Senior Waitstaff wanted

Rustica Newcastle Beach is looking for experienced wait staff. We are a longstanding venue in Newcastle with amazing views and high-volume services.

We are looking for senior waitstaff who, in addition to their duties as section waiters, are able to work autonomously, and handle restaurant open/close procedures including till reconciliation. For the right candidate there is the possibility of stepping up to a supervisory role.

Ideally the applicants will be experienced section waiters who are well presented, confident, and take pride in their work. We are after passionate & fun individuals who can work well within a team environment.

As a busy restaurant that generally has two seatings per night, the minimum requirements for those wishing to apply nclude:

Competency in managing both online and over-the-phone customer bookings

Able to handle a busy section

MUST be able to carry 3 plates and utilise a tray to carry drinks

Ability to remember menu details & make recommendations to customer

Experience in a supervisory role not essential but advantageous
