Own a share in a property outright
Bit-Property is a new way to own a share in a property outright, with less capital.
Groups and/or individuals buy shares in each Property Unit Trust. When we have sufficient committed shareholders, to cover the property purchase price, stamp duty and small float (typically <10%), we buy the property and issue share certificates proving ownership.
The properties are guaranteed by the Australian Government to be tenanted - so no chance of lost revenue if un-tenanted The Unit Trust holds the property for the agreed term - typically 6-7 years - so we can realise the best possible return as decided by the majority shareholders. The property is then sold and all net funds are distributed equally by shareholdings
