AC0491 : Kaitee - CAT for ADOPTION - Vet Work Included
Kaitee is a sweet and very timid girl who was rescued as a stray and could barely be touched when she first arrived. While still weary of people, she does want to see what you’re doing and be patted. Kaitee accepts slow hands that will move predictably and stroke her gently. She will eat in front of her foster mum, but has not yet accepted treats from her hand. She’s a sweet girl who loves collecting her toys in a secret hiding spot and just needs a chance in a furever home that will continue to work and be patient with her.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Kaitee would love a cat companion in her new home that she can slowly be introduced to. Kaitee would do well in an adult-only home or a home with cat-savvy older children who understand that she’s quite timid and will require time and patience to become the purr-fect cat companion.
Kaitee LOVES stuffed mice! She loves carrying them around and destuffing them! She has a blue checkered bed that she loves to curl up in and poke her head out of, and prefers covered places at ground level that she can feel comfortable in. A lot of hiding places around the home where she can watch people from afar would be perfect for her. Kaitee prefers a biscuit-only diet with biscuits that are smaller in size so she doesn’t have to chew as much (any crushed up adult biscuit would do her fine). She’s litter trained and is a clean and regal girl.

ACC491 - Kaitee
Breed: Domestic Long Hair
Adoption Fee: $100
*Her adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment*
Medical Notes: Kaitee has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is a virus that can affect her immune system. However, she can still live a potentially long healthy life. FIV is transmittable through deep bite wounds. Due to her FIV, Kaitee will need to be an indoor only cat. FIV cats can live harmoniously with other cats, however slow introductions are required to ensure they do not fight.
While Kaitee is currently in good health, she’ll require bi-annual vet visits to make sure her gums and teeth remain in pristine condition and clear from chronic gingivitis.
