Agave Americana makes a striking feature in a garden presently about 90cm will grow to about 180cm. Had to remove it as it was getting too big for the position I had. Several leaves were damaged digging it out as can be seen in the second photo.

Foxtail is one of the few agave that do not have serrated edges and are thus easy to handle. It is characterised by a soft foliage that is absolutely lovely to look at. The stem grows as leaves fall off while the plant ages, but it also produces small “pups” that can be taken off and potted to produce a new plant.
