I am offering six "Rosenstengel" Silky Oak Antique Dining Chairs FOR SALE (approx. circa 1947) ... Consisting of 2 Carver Chairs and 4 armless chairs. There is some wear and tear, as expected with old furniture (also to mention, one of the single chairs has a break in the upright back leg). The upholstery is not original (of course) however, it was re-upholstered quite a few years ago in good quality vinyl and is still in pretty good condition!

A pair of genuine Parker dining chairs

These two authentic Parker "matchstick" dining chairs are actually in great condition. These are perfect examples of the elegant mid-century modern aesthetic for which Parker was famous. Whilst the upholstery on these definitely needs replacing, and they could use a cosmetic sand and polish, the joints are as tight and the chairs are as sturdy as they were the day they were made. Extremely Ornate French Silver Sugar Sifter made in Paris in 1838

An very ornate and finely designed French silver sugar sifter. One of the hallmarks on the back of the handle is a head which my Semour B. Wilder Book of Old Silver tells me is the 1st Standard Mark for Paris for 1838. The other hallmark set in a diamond shape shows a downwards facing crescent moon at the top followed underneath and in order vertically by a 5 point star, an A. then another 5 point star - this is the maker's mark - see photo.
