Awesome radio...I listen to John Laws most mornings...fabulous ambience !!! All four control dials work....the body has no scratches, cracks or damage. Just pristine for it's age....manufactured in the 1940's. Sadly this radio must go...my lovely wife has request I reduce the number of radios in my collection....cheers. Electrics and aerial all operational. Local pick up only.

Reconditioned Kriesler Radio from C. 1947. Model 11-7. Serial 42443/12311. Kriesler model 11-7 is a 5 valve superheterone radio with a Bakelite case. It’s a dual wave receiver covering an extended Broadcast band from 550-1800 kcs and a Short Wave band from 50-16 meters. That’s the reason why the Glass dial is calibrated, in kilocycles and meters. Old valve radio from the 1950’s period. Note the radio is working - even without An aerial attached I’m able to receive some Local stations. The sound is ok considering It’s only AM radio. Voices are clear and Distinct and there is plenty of volume. I’ve described it as “ Portable “ however it Has a 240 volt power cord attached and I’ve Used 240 volt power when establishing that It does work.
