Vintage lounge and armchair, c.1930s from a traditional Adelaide bungalow. Very solid construction. Completely re-built by Con's Upholstery in 1994 but now in need of recovering. Otherwise clean and in very good structural condition. Not expecting many calls about this but renovators willing to invest in some upholstery to get authentic furniture for their lounge-room, or upholsterers looking for a new project will want to have a closer look. Not only has this cute vintage cane lounge setting had a refresh, but the made to fit cushions have also been reupholstered in thick, lush, Jocelyn Proust designer material.. The set includes 2 single armchairs and a 2 seater. The lounges back and sides/armrests have the very pretty, timeless tree of life design with not a piece out of place. Has come from a loving home. This is not your traditional rocker, as it has a heavy duty spring that creates more of a gentle bouncing motion. It rocks beautifully. The original upholstery is still intact, and had been re-covered with the current pleated and studded fabric before I purchased it years ago.
