The HQ Monaro Coupe emerged in July of 1971, featuring a completely new body design over the First Generation ‘K,T,G’ models. Some notable changes were the larger rear window, squarer rear quarters and integrated taillights into the rear chrome bumper. The HQ Monaro was available in Base Model, Monaro LS, GTS and GTS 350.
