I bought this starter motor for my 1987 F-250 Diesel 6.9l from Rockauto in USA. It does fit physically, but will not engage flywheel for whatever reason. Starter motor itself works perfect and they tell me it's the correct type, but not for mine! Can't tell what else it fits, check part number. I have now bought one locally and it works OK.
