2006 40hp Evinrude etec outboard engine. Was running fine before Covid but after sitting unused for three years, I can’t get it going and I can’t find a mechanic interested in looking at it. I am guessing it needs new injectors which are very expensive and I’m not prepared to spend the money on it now that servicing is so hard to find. Selling as a wrecking motor for parts, but if you know what you’re doing and have the gear, you could probably get it going again. I have purchased a new motor

MAKE AN OFFER…. Didn’t use this motor for 12 months due to travel, rain, etc. went to start but it had stopped working. Tried to take apart to see if it was an easy fix but stripped some bolts in the process. Have just removed the motor and replaced with a 4 stroke, so it’s removed and ready to go. Comes with 3.3m forward controls. Can’t locate the key so need a new key barrel. Near new prop. Maybe a simple fix if you have the skills or it could be something more sinister. May also be useful
