Purchased ($2450) brand new last year with minimal use. It has recently had its 20hr service by the Honda dealer. Easy to pull start, runs quiet and smooth. Manual pull start, short shaft. Powerful… we were using towing the kids, with an observer onboard, on their hydrofoil behind the inflatable tender. Internal fuel tank within the motor casing, or the option to plug in an additional external tank.

10HP Electric start HONDA short shaft outboard motor. Purchased in April 2023 the motor has done no more than 35 hours running time and is in pristine condition. Since purchasing the motor we have upsized our tinny and now find this motor is not quite big enough for the next boat. At the moment the motor is on a 3.7 metre tinny and has no problem planing with one person on board and is a delight to use. We have just had the 12 month service completed and have the purchase and service documents

2007 Honda 175hp I brought this motor about 12 months ago for a boat project. I am no longer wanting this motor. Realised it was way too heavy for the boat i was planning to put it on. I’m not sure what is wrong with it apparently the fella before me said it did starts but not 100% sure. I don’t want to spend any money on it. Would be good for wrecking. Or someone that wants to spend some money on getting it going. Selling as is unsure on engine hours I haven’t touched it since I brought it.
