Vintage Aboriginal Cricket Team Tie Bicentennial Tour 1988 New Rare
This very rare tie was made for the 1988 Bicentennial Aboriginal Cricket Team Tour to England. Up until then, no one of indigenous heritage had donned the baggy green. To this end, the then Prime Minister Bob Hawke, in partnership with the ACB, announced that an Australian Aboriginal cricket team would tour England through May and June that year, where they played 16 games in about as many days.
