These are a pair of matching, ANTIQUE tiles by A & E Tiles Co Ltd. (The American Encaustic Tiling Company). The company was founded in New York, New York in 1875. Their tiles were intended to compete with the English tiles that were selling in the United States for use in fireplaces and other architectural locations. This is an antique, ART NOUVEAU tile that was produced around the turn of 19th / 20th century. The tile is in very nice condition apart from a small chip on one edge - See Pictures. It's just slightly smaller than the usual 6 inches square and measures 14 and three quarters centimeters square with a thickness of three quarters of a centimeter and a weight of 365 grams. This is a very ornate, ORIGINAL, 19th century, decorative, cast-iron column 'CAPITAL' in two halves as they are generally produced. (In architecture the Capital or 'Head' forms the upper most member of a column or pilaster. It mediates between the column and the load thrusting down on it). This one is in rock solid condition with just a small chip in one section - See pictures. These kind of antique, ornate cast iron pieces of architectural salvage also work well as a lovely general garden feat

These are a pair of antique frosted / dimpled glass cabinet / cupboard style doors that came out of a house in Drummond St Carlton and are circa 1910s. One of the wood frames is secure however one is loose on one side - See picture. The glass in both frames however is in beautiful condition and could be transplanted to wherever they were needed.
