The Accord put Honda on America's automotive map in the late 1970s, impressing with its high quality and low fuel economy. It would go on to become the US's most popular Japanese nameplate for 15 years running.
Between 2003 and 2015, Honda Australia ran a twin-model strategy for the Accord. There was the medium-sized Accord Euro sedan with its sportier, European feel and the larger, wider-bodied Accord sedan that focused on comfort and offered a choice of a V6 engine.
