One of my most favourite fish. I found these fish to have way more personality than you would expect. They're smart fish and interact well in a school. 6 or more, ideally 10 make an excellent display. When I use to keep them with cichlids that were breeding, if the male cichlid was harassing the female, the silver dollars would quickly swoop in and surround her to keep the male from hurting her. Yeah, that's right, what a noble and courageous animal, I can't believe I'm describing a fish....!
