I have 2 very old Alvey reels for sale, they date back as far as 60 years. The first one is a 6 inch (150mm ) beach reel, still in very good condition and caught many good fish, it belonged to my wife's grandfather who lived on the beach at Tugan and fished almost every day, he has long since passed. The second reel is an old 9 inch ( 230mm ) Snapper reel with the famous Alvey star drag and lever ratchet, again, in very good condition . It is mounted on an old Len Butterworth heavy duty 6 foot
