For sale: antique hickory shaft golf clubs 1910s/1920s. Club ends not rusted , but covered in fish oil to protect them. looks like rust on them. Signed J H Taylor golf club among others Mashie and niblick . No splits in the hickory shafts or cracks. In very good condition for age. Can sell individually. Pick up Pambula NSW 2549

Vintage Blade Bent Neck Putter by W M Winton, Montrose, Scotland
Bent neck blade putter hand forged by W. M. Winton & Co., in Montrose, Scotland some time between 1910 and 1925. It was shafted and retailed by E. H. Risebro, the professional at Sheringham Golf Club in England at that time. William Winton was a professional at East Finchley and Acton Golf Clubs in England between 1897 and 1909 before he started his club making business in 1910 in his home town of Montrose, Scotland. Rare 1925-35 Ladies Hickory Shafted Scottish Forged "Dinkie" Niblick
It is rare to find a hickory shafted golf stick from the period 1925 to 1935 specifically made for a lady. The "L" on the back of the head signifies this. It is a "Dinkie" Niblick with a very wide head that has a dotted pattern. The golf stick is approximately 90cm long and the head is about 60mm wide at it's widest. It does not have any kind of leather or other grip although it appears to have had one in the past as there is some kind of dark resin on the handle - see last photo. The price doe

Antique Hickory Shaft Socket Wood by John Wisden & Co, Scotland 1906
Antique hickory shafted socket wood made by John Wisden's company in London. Wisden not only became famous for playing cricket for Sussex and publishing the Cricketer's Almanack but his company was also a significant maker of golf clubs. This club is called "The Royal" and Wisdens made these from 1906 to 1910. The club is approximately 112cm long and it has a wound leather grip.
