Shade is 15in / 38cm diameter (not the more common 15cm) Fitting base is 6” / 15.5 cm Genuine Mid-century ceiling light fitting. Hand blown opal glass shade with retro appeal and a Bauhaus inspired rounded beehive / flying saucer shape, reminiscent of the1930s- 1950s. This specific shape is highly desirable, increasingly hard to source and not as common as your typical 1950s beehive shape, and tends to sell between $500-800. No cracks or chips. is beautiful Mid Century Modern design blown glass ash tray or bowl is in great condition with no chips or cracks. The light reflects beautifully through the folds in the glass. It measures 7" x 3" and weights a little over 1 kg. It has a nicely polished pontiff and a few air bubbles from its creation.

FOR SALE Groovy DON brand sideboard from 1960s/70s. DON was a New Zealand mid century furniture maker. A regrettable sale but I don’t have the space to keep it. 4 doors & 2 drawers. Beautiful cross work on 2 of the door fronts. Handles & hinges are brass and polish up well. There are some marks on the top, could do with a polish and some TLC.
