Rare 1920s Banjo Mandolin
This lovely 8 string Melody Major Banjo Mandolin by the well respected George Houghton and Son dates from about 1920, it is in remarkable condition and is complete with the original case. The 10.5 inch Velum, the 17 frets and tuning pegs are all original and are good. The body is highly polished there are one or two minor chips top the polish.
