The Pioneer SX-225 is a very nice entry level amplifier which has a phono input for your vinyl and produces 40wpc which is plenty of power to driver most speakers. Importantly it has been recently tech serviced. The service and upgrades cost $150 so if you are after a cheap and reliable vintage amplifier with AM/FM capability, and a phono input this one might be for you. Happy to demo.

Regrettable sale as the receiver works well apart from a small issue when it sometimes randomly make a small clicking sound (the speaker relay protection) and one of the connected speakers might temporarily lose sound until I gently nudge the receiver to bring it back. Apparently this is quite common with vintage receivers and it might literally be one tiny internal part that needs a clean or to be re-soldered. Solid State Hi-Fi stereo amplifier - made in Japan. Obviously a quality item for its day. Item is working well - three inputs - Tape , tuner and turntable. The first Two have been tested and work fine- I don’t have a turntable to test that Input. Sound is surprisingly good though I’m limited by the quality of the speakers I’m able to use.
