Giving away our old leather couch. We’ve bought it new and for the past few years it has been out outside under the back deck couch. But we now need the space and are happy for it to find a I new home. Structurally completely sound. As shown in the photos the leather on the seat cushions has scratches and two splits (they haven’t shown any inclination of getting bigger). 3 piece suite placed in a home in the 1940's however, apparently was made prior to that. The condition is very good. Decorative carvings. Original cushioning. Recently recovered in top quality tapestry fabric. Chairs are in particularly good condition. Couch has one rear area of cane backing and one side area which have separated from frame (the couch was close to a wall) but can be repaired/rethreaded and polished. Was located in formal entry/sitting room in a very old Queenslander.
