Vintage 20th Century Japanese framed beer coasters 1970s
$45
SHIPPING OFFERED
Offered for sale is this pair of framed vintage 20th Century Japanese printed beer coasters (most likely produced for Asahi) and dating from the 1970’s.
Both designs are inspired (or taken from) original Ukiyo-E works of the 18th and 19th Centuries. Each portrays an image of a samurai; however these probably depict famous Kabuki actors playing historical characters.
The coasters have been block (and not merely dot) printed, so the colours are strong and reference the actual printing techniques of Ukiyo-E production.
Lovely decorative items for any home or business!
Nicely mounted in a gloss red and gold frame that attractively compliments the coasters.
Measures (framed) 31cm (w) x 20cm (h) approximately.
Please check the pictures as they form part of the item description.
Cash or direct deposit sale only. Can freight at buyers expense (must include insurance for damage or loss) or can personally deliver to Macedon Ranges, Melbourne, Geelong or Ballarat CBD’s for a fee. Where possible (or upon request) a physical inspection is available and always encouraged. Accurate as possible description at time of listing, however like any secondhand item is sold without guarantee or return so please ask any questions before purchase - as any sale is final.
