QLD Supervisor
First Choice Services is seeking an experienced and results driven Area Supervisor. As Area Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations and performance of our growing client portfolio of commercial sites across QLD. You will play a critical role as the main point of contact for our key stakeholders ensuring operational excellence and maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
Key Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in a previous Area Supervisor role (preferably in the trades and services industry).
- Experience demonstrating consistent operational efficiency and excellence in customer relations.
- Previous experience in ISO certification (or similar) and safety legislation compliance.
- Proficient computer skills and the ability to maintain and deliver against all business reporting and software requirements.
- High-level organisation and time management skills with the ability to be proactive, effectively prioritise tasks and efficiently respond to urgent requests.
- Strong written and oral communication, and solid interpersonal skills.
- Ability to project manage and work with multiple suppliers on multiple tasks.
- QLD Drivers Licence
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Complete and review weekly site inspections and reports.
- Ensure all jobs are managed to meet client expectations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors.
- Develop strategic and operational systems, processes and policies and identify opportunities to improve system and process and optimise workflow.
- Manage site operations and ensure works are completed within specified time frames and minimise lead times.
- Plan and manage budgets to ensure that facilities and operations are running within financial constraints.
- Supervise staff including hiring, training, scheduling and performance management.
- Ensure safety measures and systems are implemented in accordance with legislation, policy, compliance, and customer safety requirements.
- Operate an ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 Compliant Management System and manage all documentation.
- Manage inventory of all supplies and equipment. Ensure adequate stock and maintain and manage records of all stock.
